Dr. Christina McGlashanChiropractic Specialist & Clinic Director
Dr. Christina McGlashan is the clinic owner of River Oaks Chiropractic & Wellness Centre and has been practicing Chiropractic since 2004 after earning her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She went on to complete a specialty program in Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation as well as the Canadian Contemporary Acupuncture Program at McMaster University and is certified in Webster Technique, Custom Foot Orthotics, and Mental Health First Aid. She has received numerous awards for ROC and the care she has been giving to her patients since she graduated including the Clinical Skills Excellence award from CMCC and the Oakville Beaver's Readers Choice 2013, 2019, 2020 and 2023 in multiple categories.
Dr. McGlashan has had a life long drive to help people and through her patient centred approach to treatment has ensured each patient's health goals are met. She is trained in multiple techniques to help people of all ages with their nerve, muscle and joint concerns including:

Dr. Alexa KalynowskyChiropractor
Dr. Alexa Kalynowsky is a recent graduate of Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri. During her time in chiropractic school she had the opportunity to work in various clinic settings from Welfare and family practices in Missouri to sports rehab clinics in Colorado. She is driven by her passion to help each patient reach their individual goals through education and conservative management of their musculoskeletal concerns.
She uses a variety of techniques including Diversified, Activator and Drop-Assisted adjusting, joint mobilizations, and soft tissue work such as trigger point therapies, cupping, guasha, and targeted stretches and strengthening exercises. She also looks forward to growing her skill set and knowledge base through continuing education courses.
Chiropractic care is not “one size fits all,” and Dr. Alexa believes that your treatment plan shouldn’t be either. She uses a patient-centered approach along with evidence-based practices to meet individual goals and ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient.
Kim EnriquezRegistered Massage Therapist
Kim is our most recent addition to our massage therapy team! She brings over 10 years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist and has worked in a variety of clinic settings including rehabilitation clinics and multidisciplinary clinics like ours.
She is also trained in Vodder lymphatic drainage technique and offers a deep tissue and joint mobilization style of massage.
Laurel MarshallRegistered Massage Therapist
Laurel has successfully treated professional athletes, chronic pain conditions, stress related issues, and more! She has been a massage therapist for many years and is passionate about helping others.
Her goal is to help people get back on the road to recovery and to teach them how to reduce future injuries or physical setbacks in the future.
Helena PetrechovaRegistered Massage Therapist
Helena was first introduced to massage therapy as a member of the national track and field team in Slovakia, and learned first-hand the benefits of massage therapy through treatment of her own injuries. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience in a variety of fields including physiotherapy and massage and uses her vast knowledge base to provide patients with a custom, tailored massage to meet their healthcare needs and goals. Helena is a licensed, Registered Massage Therapist of Ontario.
She uses a variety of treatment techniques including swedish massage, deep tissue, hydrotherapy, and remedial exercise to treat various musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. Helena has also completed additional training in massage cupping, reflexology, hot stone therapy, pediatric Cranio-Sacral therapy, nerve mobilization, remedial exercise for the treatment of postural dysfunction.
Helena continues to be very active in track and field through participation in the world masters games, spartan games, and regular exercise.
