  • Massage Therapist Helena Petrechova

    Registered Massage Therapist

    Helena was first introduced to massage therapy as a member of the national track and field team in Slovakia, and learned first-hand the benefits of massage therapy through treatment of her own injuries. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience in a variety of fields including physiotherapy and massage and uses her vast knowledge base to provide patients with a custom, tailored massage to meet their healthcare needs and goals.  Helena is a licensed, Registered Massage Therapist of Ontario.

    She uses a variety of treatment techniques including swedish massage, deep tissue, hydrotherapy, and remedial exercise to treat various musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. Helena has also completed additional training in massage cupping, reflexology, hot stone therapy, pediatric Cranio-Sacral therapy, nerve mobilization, remedial exercise for the treatment of postural dysfunction. 

    Helena continues to be very active in track and field through participation in the world masters games, spartan games, and regular exercise. 

  • Physiotherapy Pelvic Floor Meera Senjaliya

    Registered Physiotherapist/Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist (maternity leave as of Feb 1, 2024)

    Meera is a licensed, Registered Physiotherapist of Ontario since 2015 and an Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant from Humber College. Her passion for health and fitness is what motivates her to help her patients. She believes in maintaining a healthy life style by eating right and exercising on a daily basis. She has a keen interest in performing mobilization on patients struggling with activities associated with daily living. 

    Meera has expertise in analyzing and treating musculoskeletal conditions; conservative management and post operative rehabilitation. She is eager to expand her professional knowledge base and is always looking forward to taking various continuing education courses. She is trained in manual therapy, manipulation techniques and has successfully completed Orthopaedic Division Level 1. She is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. 

    Meera has also completed specialized training to treat pelvic floor issues. She is certified to treat male and female urinary incontinence and other pelvic floor dysfunctions. She believes common pelvic issues in women need to be discussed and treated, not just 'dealt with' without getting to the cause of the issue.

    She also does Yoga to gain a better co-ordination between her mind and body. In her free time she enjoys dancing, spending quality time with her family and friends. Gardening is something she has recently gained a fondness for.
