Happy July! Kids Lane would like to extend a warm welcome to our series of free seminars designed to get you ready for baby and life after baby comes! The speakers will be Hina Palan a registered holistic nutritionist and Heather Jensen a registered massage therapist.
Below is some information on the first in the series of seminars,

Here is a little background on our speakers;
Hina Palan, The Registered Holistic Nutritionist
Hina received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of Calgary after which she pursued her interest in Holistic Nutrition by joining the Canadian School of natural nutrition. Hina is a registered member of the international Organization of Nutritional Consultants and practices out of River Oaks Chiropractic and Wellness Centre. She will be discussing what foods to eat to enhance conception, during and post pregnancy. Hina will also help you understand why we need to get enough protein, fibre, fat, fruit and vegetables each day to feed our systems.
Heather Jensen, The Registered Massage Therapist
Heather graduated from Sutherland Chan and is also practicing out of River Oaks Chiropractic and Wellness Centre. She has completed courses for Labour Support Provider, Infant massage instructor, various courses in cranial sacral and myofacial release and is a certified bereavement educator. Heather's interest in pre/post natal and infant massage came after an internship at Guelph General Hospital where she massaged women in labour as well as premature infants. She will be demonstrating massage techniques that aid infant digestion by providing relief from gas and colic.
Posted July 5, 2010 Our Chiropractors are currently participating in a public outreach campaign. The goal is to encourage people to stretch before they golf. You may see them at a golf centre near you.
