Quinoa Salad

2 cups quinoa (uncooked)

2 tbsp garlic

salt and pepper to taste

1 small red onion (organic)

3 tbsp cilantro

2 tbsp raisins

2 tbsp walnuts

1/4 cup of pesto 

2 tbsp olive oil


Serves 4 

 Add 2 cups of warm water in a pot place the pot on the stove until it comes to a boil, add 2 cups of quinoa and boil for 20 minutes, it will be ready when the grain has consumed the water. Next you will add 2 tbsp of olive oil and heat pan at a low temperature, add the garlic, red onions and salt and pepper, saute until golden brown, add the cilantro, raisins, walnuts and pesto and keep stirring.  Ready to serve.
